Magnetic
Therapy: Pensioner Pain Free with out drugs!
with
Bio Magnetic Therapy
Bio Magnetic Therapy’s effective pain relief
continues to help millions of people around the world. In Japan, Dr
N. Nakagawa, Chief of Tokyo’s Isuzu Hospital, was able to free 90% of
more than 11,000 patients from pain by using magnetic therapy.
Closer to home, Carlo Moribito, osteo-arthritis
sufferer, is just one of thousands of Australians who’ve been helped
by this natural therapy. “The pain was so bad, I lived on painkillers,”
Carlo said. “Four at once sometimes! “I had to give up the things I
loved and spent most of my days sitting at home, wishing I was doing
the things I loved.” Then he saw another story about Bio Magnetic Therapy
helping sufferers from ailments as diverse as stress, pain, arthritis,
asthma, headaches and migraines, back pain, muscular stiffness and soreness,
insomnia, skin conditions, fatigue and more.
Four weeks after putting the Underlay and Pillow
Pad on his bed, his pain was virtually gone and it continued to get
less and less. “I’ve stopped taking my painkillers completely now and
can’t remember when last I felt the need for one,” said Carlo. Carlo’s
excellent results become easy to understand when you realise that pain
is really inflammation. You have to remove the inflammation before you
can remove the pain.
What Bio Magnetic Therapy does is work on your
body every night while you sleep. The therapeutic magnets within it
stimulate the body’s endorphins, circulation and lymphatic system. This
causes blockages to be removed, allowing oxygen-rich nutrients to flow
freely again and creating the optimum environment for the body to heal
itself. So far, Bio Magnetic Therapy clinical case studies have shown
an over 90% success rate with arthritis and similar results with a host
of other problems. “I’m back dancing every weekend and I’m always out
and about,” agreed Carlo. “I can work in my garden without having to
sit down and wait for the pain to ease. And I’m able to enjoy life again.
“I wish I hadn’t waited so long before I got Bio Magnetic Therapy. It
has to be the best $175 I’ve spent in my life.”

Quit Smoking: 85% success
rate!
with
Transcesolutions - New Farm Hypnotherapy
Quitting Smoking Is Not Too Hard… More than 150,000
Australians permanently quit smoking in the last 12 months. If you smoke,
you can do this - it's not too hard, you were probably a non-smoker
for the first 15 or so years of your life. You can be again.
Think of the benefits of quitting:
- As a non-smoker, you'll look, smell and feel
better.
- You'll have more energy, money and time.
- You'll enjoy better sleep and better health.
- You will also feel a real sense of achievement
and greater self-esteem after you've quit.
- With every hour, day, week, month and year
that you go without a cigarette, your health and sense of " wellbeing
will continue to improve.
- You will certainly live longer.
In today's litigious and health conscious society
the issue of smoking and passive tobacco smoke is constantly in the
news. A few weeks ago the state government passed legislation limiting
yet again where smoking is permitted for the estimated 30% of Queenslanders
who smoke. Yet the paradox is that most surveys show that more than
90% of smokers want to quit.
For the last five years Trancesolutions - New
Farm Hypnotherapy have been helping people to quit smoking - permanently.
More than 85% of our people undertaking the program stop smoking successfully.
"Quit for Health" is a one or two session program. It can be done at
home using the Quit Kit, or at the clinic in New Farm. At the clinic,
you should plan to spend about one and a half hours for the one-session
program. We will spend some time explaining how hypnosis is effective
for stopping smoking, as it's important that you understand this.
We will also take the time to answer any questions
that you may have. Because you know more about yourself and your reasons
for smoking than we do, we'll discuss this and use this information
to personalise your hypnotherapy. The remaining time will be taken up
by the hypnosis session and you will leave not smoking. The two-session
program consists of two sessions at least 7 days apart.
This is most suitable for very heavy smokers
or for smokers who have made many attempts to quit and been unsuccessful.
A program is set during the first session which involves making changes
to your smoking habit over 7 days. During that time you will also use
a self-hypnosis audio program which will prepare you to permanently
quit smoking. Cognitive-behavioural therapy is also used to help change
thinking patterns and habits. . On your chosen "Quit Day" you will return
to the clinic and undertake a hypnosis session. You will then leave
not smoking.
After the session we will give you an audio
tape / CD to use for a few days after your visit. The purpose of this
is two-fold. Firstly, it serves to reinforce the suggestions given during
the session and secondly, triggers for diminishing withdrawal symptoms
are contained on the audio material. More than 85% of our clients stop
smoking successfully after one session. About 15% need some help in
the form of a second session. Within the first month, this is provided
at no extra cost.
All you need to successfully undertake this
program is a strong desire to quit smoking and a commitment to the process
and you will permanently stop smoking. "Quit For Health" is professional
and thorough. It takes into account the issues involved in promoting
the appropriate changes necessary for success in stopping smoking, as
well as other aspects of physical and emotional well being.

Organic
Produce: looking after you and the enviroment!
with Sun and Earth Whole Foods
The recent surge in ORGANIC produce sales
is great news - not only for suppliers and consumers but also for the
environment.
According to health food store owner, Dan Downs,
"there has been a very apparent upturn in demand for organic products
over the past twelve months". Downs, who owns and manages two Brisbane
based whole food stores (located in the suburbs of Newfarm and Wynnum)
has been taken by surprise at how quickly "organic fever" is spreading
across a broad spectrum of demographic groups. "A year ago it was a
really specialised market. Initially we began to stock a few organic
bits and pieces in our Newfarm store - which is located close to the
city and caters to many health and environmentally conscious Generation
X-ers. Now, just months down the track, we stock a full range of organic
products in both stores and the uptake comes from a broad group of people
- ranging from teenagers to the elderly."
So what is organic?
Organic products are those made using farming
methods that do not employ synthetic fertilisers and pesticides. Organic
farmers work with nature to foster fertile soil and to produce crops
without harming consumers, farm workers, wildlife and the environment.
What is the difference between organic and
non-organic in actual terms?
Soil is a living system, hosting billions of
organisms which contribute to the moisture and nutrients of the earth
and the crops that it produces. Since World War Two, and the advent
of chemical agriculture, many such intricate ecosystems have been damaged
- resulting in topsoil erosion, nutrient deficient crops and contamination
of water. In fact, soil and chemical run-off is now threatening many
aquatic species and contaminating water that fills reservoirs for human
consumption - thus increasing water treatment costs. Furthermore, many
of the pesticides used in mainstream agriculture have shown to cause
tumours in test animals.
By contrast, organic farming builds the fertility
of soil and its ability to resist erosion and moisture loss via crop
rotation and natural soil enrichers. Fertilisers must consist solely
of organic matter or rock, which has not been chemically fortified.
Predatory insects and complimentary planting methods are used to manage
insect control; and crop rotation and hand or mechanical cultivation
techniques are used to manage weed control.
Will it really make a difference if I buy
organic?
YES! Organic consumption is an excellent example
of how an individual's actions can benefit the greater good. It is an
effective way to think globally and act locally.
If you support organic products you will be ….
Treating your body like a temple - if
you want food grown as if the biology inside you counts then look to
organic food.
Caring for the environment - where do
the pesticides go after agribusiness spray them on food? Everything
goes somewhere - in our water, our land, our atmosphere … and our bodies.
Contributing to sustainable economy -
it only takes ten families eating organic produce to sustain one small-scale
organic farm.
Avoiding genetic engineering - organic
food offers a side-step from the risks of genetically modified food.
Genetic engineering tampers with a process that took Nature billions
of years to evolve.
Sustaining agricultural diversity - eating
organic helps preserve thousands of agricultural varieties not accommodated
by big industry agriculture.
Considering generations to come- for
all of the above reasons, organic consumption works towards ensuring
that our children and their children do not become a doomed McGeneration.
Also, be certain to seek out products that are
marked 'Certified Organic' to ensure that they have been grown and prepared
according to strict uniform national standards.
Does organic food really cost more?
Though organic food sometimes has a higher shelf
price - does it really cost more? Organic agriculture uses conservation
practices that protect the soil, water and air whose costs are an investment
in the future. Furthermore 'cheap' food has hidden costs such as damages
to water supplies, topsoil run-off, harm to wildlife and pesticide related
health problems of farm workers and consumers. All of these items contribute
to government costs and therefore public taxes. If these costs were
factored into the price of conventional food, organic food would most
likely cost the same or less.
Also, as awareness of organic produce and its
benefits penetrates the mainstream market and consumer demand increases,
organic industry will operate on a more favourable economy of scale
which should present a reduction in shelf prices.

Love your liver
Imagine a crystal clear swimming pool; shafts
of sunlight pierce the surface of the water, bringing to life it's brilliant-blue
refraction. Now, turn off the filter. Before long, the leaves and dust,
and the bather's debris start to show. The blue turns to grey murkiness
and then a stagnant green. The same thing happens to your body if the
liver isn't switched on to the job of filtering the blood. Fats from
food, alcohol, environmental toxins, drugs and pretty much everything
else we take in is carried through the blood to the liver for processing.
With so much to do, taking care of your liver is an important part of
staying healthy. As well as moderating your intake of fatty foods and
alcohol, research shows that the herb milk thistle can help to tone
and support the liver.
Enjoy a heart-tea cuppa
The traditional English breakfast may not be
good for your heart but a cup of English breakfast tea just might! In
a recent study of 1900 people who had suffered heart attacks, those
who drank 14 or more cups of tea per week had a 44 per cent lower death
rate in the three years following the attack than non-tea drinkers.
Researchers reporting in the journal Circulation say the benefits come
from antioxidants in tea called flavonoids, which protect cholesterol
from oxidation and improve the function of the blood vessels in cardiac
patients.
Vitamins for vision
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the
leading cause of vision loss in developed countries, and with our ageing
population the disease is set to become increasingly common. Currently
there is no cure for the condition but there are ways to prevent AMD
and slow down it's progression in the early stages. A six-year study
conducted by the U.S. National Eye Institute showed that antioxidant
nutrients including vitamins C and E, beta-carotene and zinc could cut
the risk of the disease developing from the intermediate to advanced
stage by 25 per cent. A 19 percent lower risk of vision loss was also
reported. AMD research is also focussing lutein and zeaxanthin, carotenoid
antioxidants that are found in fruits and vegetables, particularly green,
leafy vegetables such as spinach.
