A consultation with Miriam Young involves a comprehensive Naturopathic assessment, herbal prescription as well as counselling and healing where appropriate. As a Medical Herbalist, Miriam uses plant medicines from all over the world in order to stimulate the client's own body to heal itself. Herbal medicine can be used both allopathically (treating the symptoms) and homeopathically (treating the cause). Miriam uses both healing systems in her practice often simultaneously gaining the significant outcomes achieved within her patients. Any emotional issues are addressed in depth and old programming from childhood can be released and healed. Miriam specialises in detox programs in her practice and runs detox retreats.
Detoxification is one of the most important measures a person can ever take, not only to prevent disease in their body, but also to reduce and heal disease already within the body - be it migraines, osteoarthritis, gout, gall stones, irritable bowel syndrome, endometriosis, infertility, asthma, chronic fatigue or depression. Within all of these health and emotional issues, and most if not all chronic disease, there exists a huge element of toxicity at its foundation.
